Power Play is somes clever, action packed read that's fire on all cylinders...intelligent, challenging and absolutely entertaining- a council chamber blockbuster that demands to be read in single sitting and go forths you breathless, yet wanting more.
When CEO, Simon Peter Rawlings, endures a fatal bosom onslaught while golfing at Pebble Beach, Cheryl Tobin is named as his replacement. In Hammond Aerospace's male dominated executive director suite, this furrows more than a few Oxford button downs. Then a competitor's newly designed airplane clangs in a ball of fires during an air show in Paris. Which consequences in billions of dollars in new contracts, as clients scramble to acquire in line for the new Hammond jet. Because of this unexpected development, VP, Michael Zorn is not able to go to the yearly executive director retreat. On the twenty-four hours of their scheduled departure, his assistant, Jake Landry is summoned to go to the event in his place.
The lodge is located on an scattered Canadian lake, concealed deep in the huge British Colombian wilderness, where invitees are treated to all the fringe benefits with none of the disturbances.
